Kailh vs Gateron Hot Swap Sockets

I was able to get my hands on a Gateron sockets. Product listing states that its part number is CPG151101S11 which is the same as Kailh's sockets. Initial inspection shows that the measurements sure looks identical and should fit on any PCB design for the later. Placing the sockets on PCB, shows that Kailh seems to be more thin. Photo above show Kailh on the left and Gateron on the right. There's a small hole on Gateron's fin(?) making bigger solder contact. Clips for switch pins also seems bigger compared to Kailh's. These seems to be a nice improvement but only time will tell. One P9 released in the wild have these sockets on. If you happen to receive it, let me know. Cheers!

How to _____ in VIA?

This post is a work in progress. I will keep on updating this post as soon as I have time. Thanks VIA is a third party remapping software for QMK powered keyboards - this includes Pabile Keyboards. VIA allows remapping of keys on the fly and save it on the keyboard's memory. As of writing, Pabile Keyboards are not yet fully supported by VIA. For VIA to detect these keyboards, one (file) needs to be uploaded to the software. Please follow the instruction specific for your kit. IMPORTANT! Adafruit Feather 32U4 Bluefruit LE will not work with this PCB. Please use Pro Micro only. So...this new do-it-yourself kit is an 18-key macro-pad with hotswap-pability and uses cheap pro micro OR a not so cheap Bluefruit LE of Adafruit micro-controllers .
