Pro Micro Type-C

I got my hands on some Pro Micro microcontrollers with Type-C USB port to see how big is the difference based on the the photos posted online. The comparison is between conventional one, Pro Micro with Type-C, and a clone with mid-mount USB Type C port.

Photo on top shows that the one with Type-C port is longer/extended from the top by at least 2mm.

From this view, Type-C is thicker by at least a mm.

Mid-mount USB port should have made this controller thinner.

The thick USB port and the extension makes this version not suitable for PCB designed for conventional Pro Micro facing back of PCB.
